What you will study
Our English for the Financial Sector course is specifically designed for learners who would like to develop their language effectively within the Finance Industry.
This course gives the learner a solid foundation of the English language with particular focus on key financial concepts. It covers a wide range of related topics, including retail and investment banking, accounting, trade finance, and mergers and acquisitions.
Throughout the course, learners will work on the presentation of their own work, organisation and products/services, case studies and discussions on financial topics, financial statements.
The course consists of 20 General English group lessons in the morning to improve on all the core skills before focusing on Financial aspects in the afternoon.
After taking this course, learners will know how to effectively communicate in English within the Financial sector and be prepared for a career in finance.

Course participants will learn how to analyse the company’s financial strength and weaknesses, advise clients – explaining a portfolio, present figures and graphs as well as describe economic and social trends.
The course will cover communication in an international context including intercultural understanding, stimulated negotiations and business meetings.
