What you will study

Our TOEFL Exam Preparation Course caters for learners who are planning to study in an English- speaking environment and require official proof of their proficiency in the English language. The TOEFL Exam measures learner’s ability to use and understand English at University level as well as combining the 4 core language skills to perform academic tasks.

The Exam Preparation Course consists of 20 General English group lessons in the morning to improve on all the main language aspects such as listening, speaking, reading and writing skills before focusing on the exam structure in the afternoon.

The minimum course recommended duration to achieve the required band is 8 weeks, however, while deciding on the course duration, the current level of a student has to be taken into account.

How you will learn

Throughout our TOEFL Exam Preparation Course learners will become more familiar with articles written in English as well as spoken English with an academic approach. The listening part of the Exam includes lectures and conversations.

Course participants will learn how to take notes on what they hear and read, and use them to organize information before writing. The course will give them an insight on how to express an opinion about an issue and support it based on their own knowledge and experience.

Our teaching staff will guide and assist learners in every possible way to ensure that course participants achieve their maximum potential, and increase the chances of a pass or a required grade.

Learners can sit for the exam in Malta or in their own country. Applications to sit for this exam are handled separately from the English Language courses and passed on to the Examination Centres.
